More Cookery Books.

Just ordered this:

Everything about Laura Calder says I shouldn’t care for her one jot…but I must say that I dearly love her, and I still watch her “French Food at Home” series on YT, even if it is nearly 20 years old now.

This will be her third book I’ve purchased. I think she has just four, so I’ll likely buy that one before too long.
 
I bought a cookery book I’m really enjoying.
I buy a fair few cookery books and after this length of time cooking I usually mark two maybe three pages maximum, but this book I had to stop marking the pages, there are just so many flavour combos that sound so wrong (but also right) that I have to try them.

I can heartily recommend this if you’re bored of your sandwich game.
vernplum I don’t know why but I think this book would very much suit you.

I'd heard of his restaurant and would really love to go. But I can't find a single review of this book. I suspect it is interesting to read and the photos are lovely but from looking at the contents page and a few sample recipes, I don't think I would be likely to buy it.

I watched a bit of his youtube stuff and I really liked it. Just not sure given his elevated style that I still have the patience for it.
