MY GOODNESS, SatNavSaysStraightOn, you have developed "Weasel Syndrome". Weaseling away everything into the freezer for a "rainy day" - just like my wife:laugh::laugh::laugh:
When that happens, I enter "Grizzly Bear Mode". I get stuck into the freezer and start pulling things out, sacking and looting:laugh: and don't cook anything for 4 or 5 days. Then I get questions like
" Oh, that carrot soup was delicious! When did you make that?"
" February 2022..."

Right now my freezer has:

- 1,4kg pork cubes
- 500g pork chops
- 2 turkey tenderloins
- 3 whole chickens
- 4 turkey skewers
- 894g pork shoulder steaks
- 876g beef for stewing
- 550g turkey steaks
- 4 chicken legs
- 1kg chicken breasts
- 1kg sardines
- 6 red fish steaks
- 2 sea breams
- 4 codfish steaks
- 700g hake fish
- 1kg Nile perch
- 1 bread
- 1 corn bread
- 3 chilis
- homemade vegetable cubes
- curry sauce
- 2 serving pizza dough
- 5 pieces of ginger
- 4 egg whites
- 1 serving white beans
- 1000ml homemade chicken stock
- 3 serving roasted pork loin
- sugar cookies dough
- 2 serving pasta fagioli
- 3 cheeses

Most stuff has been there for 2 months. The outlier is the sardines that have been there since last summer lol

EDIT: Forgot to add I have a drawer full of vegetables too, I never count them because I usually go through them in 1 - 2 weeks and I keep restocking. I also have a container with vegetable scraps and once it's full I'll make vegetable stock with them.

You seriously know that you have 894 gram pork shoulder and 876 gram stewing beef?
I just know that I possibly have 3 or 4 chickens amongst everything else :)

What usually happens is that I'll get a glut of something from the veg plot, or I'll make a larger batch and instead of eating the same thing 4 nights in a row, we'll eat it for 3 nights in a row and I'll freeze the 4th portion.

And sometimes we'll have purchased everything for a meal but plans go a rye and I'll end up making it and freezing it all simply because I refuse to throw away good food...

We need to make room in our freezers. 2 x 12 cu ft and 2 fridge freezers. I know I have at least 1 1'/2 lambs 2x hams (1 now. 1 defrosting) 16 litres pasta sauce 30 vege samosas 30 meat samosas 1/2 batch of croquettes. Plus shitloads of other stuff. Wife is going to do before going back to work.

I like the sound of these - Tru Fru chocolate-covered raspberries.
But not so much the sound of these -
Bratwurst - beer
Stank Pork Stew 😆
Beer bratwurst are standard here:

I’ll frequently simmer them in beer, before slapping them under/on the grill/barbecue to crisp up!

The stanky stew is a pork stew I made that included a fair amount of anchovies - I found it inedible, MrsT loved it, so I had to label it in such a way that I don’t mistakenly eat it again. 🤮

Time for an updated freezer report:

Fresh cranberries - 1/2 bag
Prime rib bones - 2 bones
Prime rib (cooked) - 1 pound
Chicken - legs - 8
Chicken thighs - 2
Chicken legs/thighs - 2 & 1
Pork chops - boneless - 2
Chorizo - 4
Smoked sausage patties - 2
Hungarian sausages - 3
Pork ribs - 1 rack
Chicken wings - 1.5 pound
Breakfast sausage - 1 pound
Bacon - 1 pack
Hash browns - 1 bag
Pearl onions - 1 bag
Fresh parsnip - 7oz x 2
Fresh butternut squash - 10oz x 2
Frozen corn - 1 bag
Frozen peas - 1 bag
Crinkle-cut fries - 1 bag
Hash brown patties - 2 patties
BS chicken breasts - 2 breasts
Ground pork - 1/2 pound
Irish bangers - 2 packs
Bean & SPAM soup - 2 servings
Beer battered fish - 1 box
Frozen cod - 1 bag

Cornbread - 1/4 round
Pita - 6
Dinner rolls - 1 bag (partial)
Stollen - 1
Butter - 6 sticks
Fudge bars - 1
Tru Fru - 1 bag
Garlic-Provolone sausages - 1.25 pound

Stank Pork Stew - 4 servings
Nutmeg - 1 jar
Hash brown patties - 1 bag
Doughnuts - 7
Peanut butter fudge - 5" x 5" square

I've also taken to keeping track of some recipe ideas in the same spreadsheet, so I'm thinking beef-barley soup for the prime rib bits, cornbread stuffing for the cornbread, sausage sandwiches, pasta, and pizza with the garlic-provolone sausages, meatloaf or meatballs for the ground pork, and barbecue chicken for the chicken legs.

Interesting how different people eat, isn't it?
Of all that stuff you've got, I can only match THREE items: the butter, the chicken breasts and the frozen peas!
I'll have a look in a while and we can compare.

I still haven't gotten to the deep freeze, really dreading that. But, the 2 refrigerator freezers are cleaned out and organized so I actually know what's in them.

Earwig ho, then.
2 chicken breasts and a bag of chicken tenders. 1 kg skirt of beef ( we use this to make carne mechada - pulled beef). 1/2 kg peeled shrimp. 1 pkt smoked salmon. 1 pkt smoked catfish. 2 bags coconut meat, blitzed in the processor. 1 pkt home made ravioli and 1 pkt home made mezza luna. 1 pkt tequeños (you'll have to look that one up!). 4 frozen spring rolls. 1 pkt spring roll wrappers. 1 pkt wonton wrappers. 1 pkt phyllo pastry. 1 bag finger chiles. 1 pkt frozen peas. 1 pkt dried yeast. 1 container cardamom & pistachio ice cream. 1 tupperware of something completely indistinguishable. 1 bag ice. 1 bag dog bones. 4 ice packs (for bruising).1 mink stole.

I'm curious.

If the corn and the peas are "frozen" in the freezer, how come the parsnip and butternut squash are "fresh"?
That’s just a way for me to distinguish between what I bought fresh and then froze (parsnips and squash), and what I bought already frozen from the grocer’s (peas and corn).
