These hydroponic lettuces (or is that letti?) were available today in the supermarket. ฿15.00 each (about 45 US cents).

[Edit: They were not sold in individual plastic bags]

Great for finger food. Stuffed with smoked mackerel pate

My mum does a lovely crisp leaf salad with prawns or smoked or steamed salmon with mango or avocado. All combos work well apart from smoked salmon and mango.

I made a salad yesterday with iceberg lettuce straight from the greenhouse, made with tomato boiled egg sliced radishes from garden cheese and spring onion. It all got eaten.
