You've tried different kinds then? I'm not crazy about black olives, but green are pretty good. Kalamatas are delicious, especially in salads with Feta cheese and more.I don't like olives!! -- awful, sour, nasty little things!
But they are so popular that I've tried them 2 or 3 times, to see if my taste has changed, but no
So I've diced them fine and lost them a spoonful here & there in stews & casseroles
I don't intend trying them again
The only positive comment I can think of is that they would be good if you are trying to lose weight because they don't so much satisfy your appetite, rather that they are such a powerful astringent that they put you off eating anything at all for the next 12 hours
Yes pleaseNicoise anyone?
One of my favourite salads.Nicoise anyone?
Agreed. They have to be whole, however, with the pit in.
Those ghastly sliced black olives in tins taste of a bsolutely nothing.
Sounds...weird. I think I'd be disappointed with those as well. The only olives I've ever tried and disliked were some green Kalamatas, pickled with lemon juice. They just didn't work for me.
That's really hard to do on a pizza, and in a salad I also don't want to break my tooth on a pit. Eating them plain I am in your camp but as an ingredient in a dish I want them without the pits.Otherwise, I'll have all the olives you can give me.

I don't mind them on pizza. They have a certain funky taste but not very enjoyable on their own. Except for my middle daughter, she absolutely loves them and when she was a teenager you could put a bowl of black olives in front of her and she would eat nearly all of them. Never understood that. Those ghastly sliced black olives in tins taste of a bsolutely nothing.
I haven’t been able to find Nicoise olives. I usually have to settle for kalamata most times. Once years ago I found them in an olive bar olive salad. OnceNicoise anyone?
Pimento stuffed cheap-ass green olives…I’ll eat ‘em ‘til I puke. I love ‘em.All the olives I've ever had I'll happily eat until I'm full. I don't like them with pits since that slows me down...
We can get them here, but at a speciality store and it's a bit of a drive, so I just order them from Amazon.I haven’t been able to find Nicoise olives. I usually have to settle for kalamata most times. Once years ago I found them in an olive bar olive salad. Once
