One roast chicken: what can you make from it?

Slicks? Dumpling type?
Yes, flat slippery, doughy noodles as opposed to those things that are sort of steamed/baked on top.

Where I’m from, both are called “chicken and dumplings,” but in other parts of the country, the flat type are called “chicken and slicks.”

Serious Eats

We ate those weekly growing up, sometimes more, but we called them chicken and dumplings.
 
Chicken tacos
Chicken soup
Chicken salad
Chicken sandwich
Chicken anything else.

The list is too long to write. Of course I put the chickens I roast right on the plate with potatoes and veggies.
