I ended up with 4 (250 ml ones),
But I used more bell peppers, but smaller ones (maybe I should have weighed them)
I had to cook a bit longer and used quite a lot more oil. By the end, the peppers were just covered in oil, meaning I had enough oil for the jars.
My chili had no heat, so I did increase black pepper amount.
They have just come out of their water bad and I heard some satisfying plopping sounds.
Now we wait for a bit
