Plans for today (2025)

I didn't get much sleep also. Woke at 2.30 am couldn't get back to sleep so I got up and went downstairs and put heat pump in up. It was 2 deg c it's now 11am.
Booze trip pay telecom bill. I just adjusted my plan $75; endless data. Plus I ordered a new s24 Samsung phone. I chose black over green or blue.
Another $1100 getting old is expensive.
I will pick up lunch while out.

I used to buy my phones outright but my current Samsung, 2 years old, required a payment plan... Phones are just ridiculous. There's an outfit, Fairphone, that's cool but they don't sell in the US. Cheaper phones, more green, and not locked into Giggle.

They gave me a $300 credit as a good customer (30 years) and pay over 12 months. I'll prolly pay the lot next bill.

Have I understood @karadekoolaid? I assumed pickles but perhaps it's whole Indian dishes?
The pickles/chutneys/jams project is still in progress, but I'll have to see how much it costs, and there will definitely be a professional photographer around. No jars in that one, methinks!
This book (it was approved today) will be Indian recipes, and it came out of the blue. The good thing is, between the two of us, most of the recipes are already written down, so it's a question of choosing a balanced selection, organising the book itself and getting the photos done. We both know several pros, so it 'll eventually come down to which one offers us the best deal!

I find the photos are often the make or break in in a book. If there’s no photo’s then fine but if there’s a poor quality photo it can be off putting. Maybe the choice of photographer should in part come down to who you think is the very best of the bunch - price taken into account of course?

I’m going to unpack the Ninja and see if it’s possible to get it on the bike.
I’ve ordered a couple of cargo nets but it’s surprisingly heavy and unwieldy, it needs to be strapped down very securely without damaging it, 80mph (sometimes more on closed private roads 😉) against anything that sticks out on a motorcycle has a hard time. Might need a test run 🤔

Then clean and dropper the dogs eyes (the conjunctivitis is back 😞) and a new dog bed is arriving today because the current one is not washable and she rubs her eye’s on it.

Tidy the kitchen which somehow turned into a bomb site yesterday!

Putting in a food order. It’s one of those annoying menu’s where you have to be able to cater for 2 or 6 people depending on who suddenly decides they’re coming, or not.
My youngest is notorious for saying his coming and forgetting about it or more commonly forgetting to mention he is coming and appearing with some of the first words out of his mouth being “I’m a bit hungry”

So far I’ve got Chilli dogs, Coq au vin, Tuna Melts and Butter Chicken Curry.
All of those can be bumped up or down in quantity. The leftovers can be frozen or have long dates.
It’s tricky thinking of easy nice things when you’re tired and not in the mood for any great effort, that was the best I could do!
If anyone has any easy go to’s they uses for unpredictable occasions let me know.
Chips anyone? 😂
