Plans for today (2025)

Went to watch eli (12) play rugby. He struggles but enjoys it. Just had a snack for lunch. Bets are on . Food out for Sunday family dinner . 3kg roast beef rolled. Then food shopping for the week.

Bubble wrap, cardboard, velcro strapping, stretch wrap and a carry bag, safety first for my new baby

I'm going to trim the hedge near the front gate.
Then I'm going to pay a quick visit to the supermarket for a wottle of bine.
Then it's IPL until 2pm, followed by the Champion's League Final at 3pm.

Laundry, make bread pudding, DG for milk and peanut butter, some inside painting. That should do it; yesterday was too much!

I do pop over to Wales it's beautiful but utterly ruined by the recent changes to 20mph madness!

Were you aware that prosecution in 20mph zones only starts at 26 mph? So in reality you are safe so long as you remain at 25 or less. This definitely applies in wales, idk about other parts of britain.
To be honest, if a car drove at 20mph locally they'd be holding up the traffic
Tho naturally I support adherence to speed limits

Finished the grocery shopping and having a quick one before heading home.

Went to bed last night at 11PM (which already made me grumpy) and got paged at 11:07PM, ended up working until 1:30AM and then also couldn’t get back to sleep.

Worked at little this morning working now, working tomorrow, and on the hook to work federal holiday Monday as well…and then it’s Tuesday and the rest of the week to face.

Planning on grilling out some steaks tonight.

Why does going to bed at 11pm make you grumpy? Too early or too late?
