Plans for today (2025)

Does anyone else detox or have periods of 'clean eating'?
If you do what does it entail?
If it's eating lots of salads you can count me out 😃
Abstaining from alcohol is probably the only time I do any type of detox, but I have been considering introducing dry cereal and some non-dairy milk to our diets to increase fiber intake. Not sure I would go so far as to call that clean eating, though. Been thinking about doing that for about a year but haven't, LOL. It's been eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, or a combination of some of the aforementioned mostly for a very long time. We do a lot of dairy here, especially me, since I put it in my coffee every morning (err, afternoon). We both eat a lot of cheese, and I probably make homemade macaroni and cheese a few times of month with heavy cream and a blend of lovely cheeses (and cooked bacon on top near the end). We eat bacon pretty regularly, but I would say we go through about 3 pounds a month between the 2 of us so it's not horrible.

Sounds lovely!
I would eat a lot of cheese and real dairy if I could!
Having a cheeseburger later 😋

I surprised myself by actually getting off my hind end and dividing up all those local hot dogs we bought while away.

Usually, I buy a big pack of this or that and say, “Oh, I’ll divide those up into multiple 2-person portions when I get home!”

…and then I chuck the whole thing in the freezer, rationalizing that we’ll just eat the lot over a week when they thaw out at some point in the future, which of course never happens, and the tail-end of whatever it was gets thrown away, negating (or at least severely impacting) any savings from buying in bulk.

I'm going out later today to do a bit of work then coming home and making stuffed peppers (Italian sausage with cheeses baked in a marinara sauce served over angel hair pasta).

Tomorrow going to my oldest daughter's house up on Lake Erie for a cookout. It's almost 2 hours away and we haven't been up to see them in a very long time. I bought some coloring books, crayons, and Slinkys for my 3 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter. I can't wait to see my DH and their dad play with the Slinkys on the stairs. What, did you really think the Slinkys were for the little kids? Nope. I am quite sure the big boys will be playing with them the most. I didn't get anything for my 8 month old granddaughter, but she has so many stuffed animals I think she will be fine and won't even realize that there are presents being given to her siblings and not her. And she really doesn't even know who I am yet.

Bryan Kohberger. There seems to be no motive for the murders beyond perhaps Konberger's own ego. Not sure any documentary will shed much light on this case.

Yeah he had a psychology qualification and im picking he thought he could do the perfect murders????
I missed how they tracked him though.
I have a library on serial killers.
