Today's plans were accomplished. I made a pot of chili and got most of the new wainscoting up in my hallway. Hopefully after work tomorrow I can get the rest of the boards up, then all of the trim, then patch the nail holes, and give it a final coat of paint.
Then I can re-focus on my laundry room, where so far I've installed a new floor, new wainscoting, and new upper cabinets. The cabinet crown molding and associated trim won't be available until November, but I still need to decide on handle pulls and a William Morris wallpaper print for a above the wainscoting, finish out the wainscoting trim, paint, get the base cabinet installed and plumbed, and build the framework for a quartz countertop over the washer and dryer. Once that's all done, I'll need to call my contractor to install ceiling can lights instead of the fluorescent light since I just don't feel like tackling that myself, too.

My Marinade is equal evoo mirin glug of light soy and a glug of Chinese wine. Egg wash then panko.
Chicken is so tender

Plans for today meant the last Sunday of the Indian Food Festival.
It p***ed down with rain; I spent 2 hours sitting out front in the restaurant looking like a warthog at a lion's birthday party, then went home.
I'm now free again, though!

And now I'm free, my plan for today was to (a) pick up some olive oil and Grana Padano cheese (b) get some more olives and tahini (c) do very little else.
Mission accomplished so far, although I've got a meeting tomorrow for another Indian food event. YAY!!

Busy day. The falcon wouldn't start. Change of plan. I ran wife to work. She's getting a charger from there.
Im using the kia.
Booze run then bakery bread pie and biscuits.
A mate is popping around for a chat.
Pick wife up and put battery on charge.

Edit: already found something more interesting to do, a recipe for Kha Gai soup using the cream whipper. I think I’ll call it Fluffy guy soup
