Not always! Bats have wings, and they’re mammals!I'm an expert!
It's one of those things with wings on it, right?![]()

If it has feathers though, it’s definitely a bird. Unless it’s a velociraptor.

It's very cloudy out with rain moving in later. DH got up for a minute and went back to the awesome sleep chamber. I picked up some work for a few hours and placed a grocery order. Also need to stop by the seafood market. Calling for heavy rain here tomorrow so getting prepared.
From Monday on it's showing sunny and warm, so it's fine we can just chill this weekend and sleep!
I'm going to get some more grouper and some shrimp. We had a shrimp cocktail I made the other night that was amazing, so fresh and delicious, so I'll get enough shrimp for that plus to fry. Will fry some grouper also because DH was asking for it. He wanted me to fry what we ate last night but I insisted on doing it with the boursin cheese and cracker crumbs in the oven (much easier to prepare and I didn't have oil), and he was blown away.Do you have something in mind seafood wise or are you going to seawhat looks good?

I'll probably get some crab Monday, not sure yet.
We've got hawks around here but I don't know what kind they are. karadekoolaid ???I am someone who likes to watch birds, and even dabbles a little bit in bird conservation as part of my job.
Yep, there are apps you can use to help identify birds! Merlin is a popular one - it actually uses your phone’s microphone and identifies birds based off their songs/calls. It’s not 100% accurate, but it’s pretty good.
It’s surprisingly possible to take pics of some birds with a phone camera. My dad does lots of bird photography, and he takes pics with both his DSLR and his phone. Of course, lots of times the darn bird moves right as you try to photograph it, but that’s one of the nice things about digital photography- you can keep snapping away without wasting film!
Here’s a photo of a sharp-shinned hawk I took with my phone.View attachment 134771
Can't help you much there, because I've only been to Georgia once. We've got hawks around here but I don't know what kind they are. @karadekoolaid ???
Just round crackers, but bread crumbs will work. You have gluten free I'm sure?I fancy that.
It was boursin and what sort of cracker crumb?
We do. A lot of different styles of crackers, I think I know exactly which GF ones I’d need to emulate those!Just round crackers, but bread crumbs will work. You have gluten free I'm sure?
