Busy day!Plans for today:
Wake up at the butt crack of dawn
Have a quick cup of Coffee
Go up to Costco and buy my new laptop (it went on sale today $200 off - that pays for the data migration)
Take my PITA old laptop along with the new guy to the geeky boys and have them do their magic
Come back home to pick up DH and take him to his pulmonology testing
Skittle back on home to make supper
Safe flight.
While we were waiting for our flight I saw 3 article headlines on my phone about plane wrecks. But I know it's way more dangerous to be in a car than it is on a plane. And my dad being a pilot I've never been afraid to fly.I watched airplane disasters last night.
Just saaaaaying lol

Curious that, isn't it?While we were waiting for our flight I saw 3 article headlines on my phone about plane wrecks. But I know it's way more dangerous to be in a car than it is on a plane
It’s a shame because those emergency chutes look like a lot of fun but the risk of death would certainly take the shine off!Curious that, isn't it?
I was once on a flight out of New York and there was a MayDay call. ( I was sitting in the front seat with my girlfriend). Panic - but then, calm. Nothing to be done.
Statistically, you're far more likely to be killed in a car accident, or walking along the street. IATA says that there's one accident in every 810,000 flights - an average over the past five years.
Post script: we made an emergency landing in Bangor, Maine. Down the emergency chutes. When we got to the bottom, the security guy said:
"Run to the terminal as fast as you can."
We did, even though it was about -5 outside.
