Plans for today (2026)

Everything that was supposed to be done this morning is done.
Now I’m resting a bit togo after my big goal of the day. TBH, I was so excited about this tropical fruit tree that I had a hard time going to sleep last night, lol.

Awesome!
Great news

Round two!

We’re expecting between 20-30 cm of snow today, so this morning I woke up, packed an overnight bag, tossed my snow shovel in the car, and drove to my parents house (it was snowing but the roads weren’t too bad yet).

I am now spending the day with my parents, assisting with shoveling and watching football. I’ll stay over tonight and either work from here tomorrow or head into the office depending on how much of a mess things are.

Since I'm in town, I gotta do all those things I normally push to the end of my list... Plus the ones that really need doing.
In no particular order:
Quotes for irrigation pipes, fittings etc
Dentist
Car service
Get worms for a small worm farm
Find certain tools, shade cloth, farming tools, and whatever else made in on my list

Today big goal is to plant my 2 bare root fruit trees. Yesterday I found out one of my cherry trees is dead. This frees up a spot for other stuff.
The little stuff, I’m starting to think I should helm my paloozy jeans.

No particular plans for today, apart from follow up on some calls and buy some ingredients for chutney/hot sauce/piccalilli.
That was at 9am.
Now it's 4pm and I have to :
Send some menus for an Indian food course
Send costs for an Indian gala dinner in February
Get ingredients for 6 rations of chicken Mangalore, plus naan bread
Get ingredients for 6 rations of lamb Kohlapuri
Cost a menu for Indian food & tea (for a tea shop, of course)
Nothing else for the moment

:hungry:sounds tasty.
How do you make it?
I'll post the recipe - but don't promise anything for a while because, all of a sudden, I'm hopelessly busy!
All the stuff from above plus a cooking course plus a dinner for 8 on Friday. Aaarrggh! Why do I do this?? :hyper:
(Answers himself: "because I like it!:laugh:)
