Recipe Pork and Chilli Egg Burgers

Ingredients

400 g pork, roughly minced (ground)
2 eggs
2 onions, chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
6 red chillis, chopped
½ tsp dried sage
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
salt and black pepper
6 burger buns
ketchup (to taste)
lettuce leaves
6 fried eggs

Method

Mix the pork, eggs, onion, garlic, chillis, sage, breadcrumbs, salt and black pepper in a bowl or in a food processor.


Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Split the mixture into six and form patties. Grill, fry or barbecue.

Slice the burger buns and toast the cut sides lightly. Spread a little ketchup on the bottom side of the buns. Place each patty on a few lettuce leaves. Add the fried eggs.
