Recipe Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

Ingredients
½ cup pumpkin puree, fresh or canned
1 frozen banana
1 cup almond milk, optional soy, light coconut or skimmed milk
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, more or less to taste
¼ tsp vanilla
¼ tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
½ cup ice

Directions

Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Pour into a clean glass.
Enjoy

I think that looks awesome. I love pumpkin. That is one of my favorite things about Fall the fact that pumpkin is available everywhere. In fact the world seems pumpkin mad in the Fall, your drink looks amazing!

What exactly is the frozen banana needed for? Can you actually taste it in the smoothie?
Bananas are the one fruit I don't like. :unsure:

Increase the ice amount slightly, leaving the banana out in that case.
