Do jaffles count as sandwiches?

I was watching AllRecipes.com streaming and the gal made something like a smash burger big mac taco ... something like that and I want to try it!
Just gotta find that recipe again.

Not Big Mac style, but same method.

oops. Sorry.
Just remembered we weren't supposed to do burgers :banghead:

A vegetable I've never heard of... since I love vegetables I want to know more.

It was foraged where I live. I don't want to say Milkweed is a weed, as they are pretty important to Monarch butterflies, but it's basically a weed that grows in brushy areas. The stalks produce milkweed pods that hold the seeds. And are poisonous.

But if you harvest the pods when they are about an inch or just slightly longer, boil them for exactly 8 minutes, then saute them in whatever you wish (butter and garlic), they have a nice texture and take on flavoring well. Some say the inside is like a cheese.

Kind of like poke weed. Have to harvest young, boil twice, and then saute.
