Burger King has breakfast sandwiches on biscuits.

I googled it
They look a lot wider and flatter than I would think of an American biscuit being but if the ingredients are the same then it is a biscuit sandwich isn’t it.

I can’t imagine thinking of it as a sandwich

They look like a scone split in half with lots of fillings. I mean the ones I saw on Man v. Food.

They aren't that big. But I like them sometimes for a quick breakfast.

Although approaching one of my pet peeves which is food stacked so high you can’t fit it in your gob to get all the components in one hit and the contents splurging out.

Breakfast sandwiches on biscuits often come with a sausage pattie and are typically cheaper, at least at McDonalds, than their egg mcmuffin.
But I'm not a fan of them. Put my biscuit under sausage gravy

The chicken biscuits are awesome, but so are egg and cheese with bacon or sausage biscuits.

What about English "biscuits," with sweet fillings, like our oreo cookies? Do you have those?

Course we do. We invented the sandwich biscuit! Custard creams, jammy dodgers... but I fear we are straying a tad too far away from the spirit of the thread.

Yes, we do call them sandwich cookies, but fairly certain SandwichShortOfAPicnic had only savory in mind.

No, I think most sensible people don't want to unhinge their jaws like a snake in an attempt to eat a 6" thick sandwich. It's messy and it looks uncouth. I certainly don't want to be seen trying to eat something like that.

Just not cookie sandwiches. So it's got to be in between some sort of bread?
