No pics because I wheee-doggie overcooked the potatoes, but we had over-easy eggs (those were cooked perfectly ), smoked sausage patties, the aforementioned potatoes, and toast.

We love overcooked potatoes!

These were shredded hash browns…you know those potato sticks you can buy in a canister? These were like those, only done to a dark mahogany color.

Runny egg yolk helped them along, though. Runny egg yolk fixes everything!

DH's breakfast

Walmart's Croissant (which both DH & I have determined is just nice bread - no where close to a croissant) - toasted, stuffed with a hard fried Egg, Butterball Turkey Sausage-sliced open, and Swiss Cheese.
Local farm grown, diced Heirloom Tomatoes, and fresh Oranges, not pictured. All washed down with a glass of Cranberry Juice, as men get to "a certain age" Cranberry Juice for the WIN!!!

Two filled with Nutella, two filled with blackberry butter. Those are the strawberries from yesterday - I said I was taking a chance, and they’re quite good!

Decided to make brunch, and go shopping a bit later.

Brunch was English muffin (toasted and buttered), tomato, corned beef hash topped with over-easy eggs, fried potatoes, and onions.

Toasted Walmart Italian Bread
Pan fried Kiolbassa Provision Co. Smoked Polish Sausage
AH-YUM!

I just had an egg, sausage and a glass of OJ - watching those carbs baby!!!

Today was our monthly housecleaners day, we always got out to breakfast when The Ladies get here, about 10-ish in the am.
DH made the call of Cracker Barrel, okay...

Did you know that they now have adult beverages? I didn't, but can I keep the glass, please?

I think this is called Mama's Breakfast for DH

I "built my own" breakfast. I just LOVE their Hash Brown Casserole. Never had the Biscuit & Gravy before, not bad, I only ate half a biscuit and a small spoonful of the gravy, but all of the Hash Browns!! That's my carbs for the day
