Smoked Salt

Not sure where to post this but here is some salt I smoked while doing up
Some Kasselar for the shop. It is a box of French Sea Salt we sell. Smoked salt is selling well here, so I thought I would make our own to sell. Probably package t in small 3 ounce containers.

I love smoked salt and use quite a bit of it. I always get Halen Mon (Anglesey Salt) as it is made on the Menai Straits about five miles from our daughter's Anglesey house. They do a variety of other salt flavours as well.

Curious, I've never seen Smoked Salt before.
Is it a finishing Salt? How should I use it?
Does it have a strong smoke flavor?
What kind of wood did you use Rocklobster ?

I buy it and have two types but could do it myself as I've got a 'smoke gun'.

pretty much..We were selling some Cornish stuff, the company keeps shorting us..we have people asking for it, sooo..support local!

Seriously though...
Smoked salt is great as a finisher; sprinkle some on what you´ve just prepared and you get the smoky bit.
I don´t think I´d actually cook with it.
