Tangerines, clementines and satsumas are all traditional seasonal Christmas fruits. How do you use them in your cooking? Or would you rather eat them as they are?

I use the peels for cooking something like poached pears in red wine sauce.
Or I julienne the peels and include them in cookies.

Tangerines and Clementines I eat as is - my wife will put them (slice by slice) into jelly (jello). To be honest, I never really considered them any other way.

Tangerines and Clemetines are actually both types of Mandarins.
I know this because I’m boring a hell and I listened to a long podcast about why they don’t taste the same as they used to.

Link is to BBC sounds. Sorry if you’re in a country that does not allow access but tbh you’re not missing much 😂
