The asparagus season

Really? I don't think white asparagus tastes much different to green asparagus.

I've had it a few times. Cooked it myself last year - I don't think I ever posted the recipe or photo so I'll dig it out. I thought it was a much more subtle taste than the best fresh green asparagus. I'd like to think it was like the difference between Native oysters and Rock oysters but I'm not sure I'd go that far.
 
I started reading this post last night and then dreamed about asparagus 🌝.
There is a local-ish farm that grows asparagus but we wont be able to get there this year.

I absolutely love asparagus. Not a fan on the tinned/jarred.

I will be making asparagus soup until I get sick of it. This is from last year.
