I made a pizza last night that had multiple and abundant herbs in it, but was too lazy to measure,
I made rosemary foccaccia, it's just the recipe part that makes it a non-entry
I think it's important to point out that the recipe challenge is not (nor ever will be, I hope) a competition to see who can write the best recipe, who can determine the perfect amounts of ingredients, who can produce the most exotic dish or who can take the most amazing photos. It's simply a challenge for home cooks to post their dishes and see which one most attracts the attention of the judge - who is also a home cook.I use them just about daily but they're not the star of the dish.

I the recipe you write down says "a bunch of this"and "a pinch of that" or just "herbs" for example, then that's fine.
If you think your recipes are badly phrased, that's not a problem, because (1) a recipe is just a basic scheme and (2) we mods will fix it to fit the Cooking Bites rules .
Another thing is to not be intimidated by a challenge or by the judge.
In my case, I've always loved Indian food and have been cooking it for over 45 years, so there's lots of experience there, that's all. The fact I've cooked for the Indian embassy is actually no big deal at all; there are probably only 10 people in the entire country who can actually manage the spices, and it just happens to be one of my passions. Try me on choucroute or a classic beef bourgignon, and I'd be pushed to even get them right.
We've got some great photographers on this site as well, but that's no reason to worry if your photo is a bit off. Most of mine, for example, usually are.
So go ahead, post your recipe for herbs, however you want to do it. There are no prizes, no TV interviews, no instant stardom; just the thought that other members on the site are going to enjoy eating what you prepared, because they've probably never tried it.
All I'm saying is, go for it. If the dish tastes good to you, then it's fine.
