Well, change of plans - no afternoon tea tomorrow.

MrsT has a colonoscopy on Tuesday, so she starts the prep tomorrow (IOW, medicinally-induced explosive diarrhea ), and she's decided the last thing she wants is to load up her system with scones, chicken salad, cheese truffles, and fig tarts just before that.

I was out of town and barely checked in here, I am just now catching up. I am so sorry y'all are having to go through this. Hoping he gets better soon.

Went to the movies for the first time since March. The experience felt very safe, I bought my ticket online and it immediately blocked all four seats around me but there were only 6 people in the room with more than enough distance between us and everyone wore a mask. The movie was emotionally brutal. It's a Portuguese movie called Listen, about a family of portuguese immigrants in London whose children are taken and put into forced adoption. Years ago I watched a documentary about this, about an immigrant mother from Western Europe whose children had been taken by social services and put into forced adoption in the UK. The last scene was brutal.

Kind of sounds like what was going on at our Southern borders.
