I had an echocardiogram today, no evidence of the damage to my heart that occured a year ago, looks like I healed myself.

That's absolutely fantastic.

A local grocery store chain here used to have this really good potato-scallion bread that I absolutely loved. It was so delicious. Many years ago (pre-pandemic), they discontinued it. I was super sad, that bread was my favourite.

Today I went to the store, and what did I see? A loaf of potato-scallion bread, being promoted as a “new” offering! IT’S BACK YAAAAAAY!!!!

I've got such great news I just have to shout it out :

I'm getting my first (trial) driving lesson next tuesday because I've been able to quit my opiate pain medication for more than a month now!


I can hardly believe that at age 38 I am finally able to hopefully get a driving license!

Wise move. A lot of people choose automatic now thinking they’ll never need to drive a manual. Personally I think that’s a wasted opportunity. Being able to get in any vehicle and drive it is useful, cheaper car hire too!

One of the great reasons my 4x4 is much less stealable than an automatic 4x4 - those of the age to steal such vehicles can't actually drive a manual!

I got an automatic, but would have preferred manual.
Simple reason: push start.....

Yeah. Tell me about it. We ended up buying a jump starter kit with built in battery for my OH.

My manual is a petrol/ lpg gas conversion. Imagine my surprise when it cut out on me and restarted on gas during a gear change! Jump starting on gas was not on my agenda!

I don't use there gas anymore. It may be cleaner, but it stalls on every gear change (and can't easily be fixed) and gas costs too much more. In fact most fuel stations are now removing it! Next time I have to get the LPG tank recertified (every 10yrs) we'll get it removed completely.

Yeah, I got one of those jump starter kits. Just a very small one, but it has helped me out a number of times already!
