The humble baked potato

So what was the caviar?

Lumpfish Roe. Its around in most supermarkets in the UK and not expensive. This jar was £3.30 ($4.29).

I too remember mum cooking spuds in foil in the embers of our fire. Christchurch now has tight laws on fires. Mine was taken out and walled up when building upstairs. I'm never going to have them again.

Put them in the coals of your grill. When I was in Scouts, we would just throw them in the coals of our campfire first and then the steaks when the potatoes were done. Called it Caveman steak and potatoes.
