The Instant Pot (pressure/multicooker) thread.

I can't find that crisping rack.
Turns out the bacon crisper rack is not really necessary, if you have a trivet that is high set then that will work fine (better in fact).
It needs rotating (as in twist the rack 180 degrees) mid way as IP airfryers do have hot spots that cook one side faster than the other if you're not using the airfryer whirligig underneath it.

But twisting a rack four mins in is minor compared to frying it in a pan.

Midway, you can see one side is more cooked than the other due to the swirly airfryer base being missing.

And lazy bacon sandwich 😋

To use this method you have to be alright with it not all being cooked completely evenly.
The top areas crisp faster.
Which I like a lot. I like how the texture changes and how the sauce intermingles in the bacon slightly differently with each bite because of the bacons curves.

You can if you prefer lay it down flat on the racks to get completely even cooking but this floats my boat so much more 😊

I think normal may be the low setting and more is the high setting. Low is more keep warm temperature not for cooking.

The temps and settings and so on will vary by model.
I got an end of model cheaply priced one and only ever use sauté, keep warm and manual - the manual setting is only one heat, "high" is what I was told by the manufacture.
Tell me if I missed this somewhere on the thread, but - when making anything soupy/saucy if I put it on sauté until it boils, turn it off, cover and seal, it takes far less time coming up to pressure and "cooking".
