"The Wife"

I just spit my coffee out reading about Mr 7 - he is lucky to have you as a grandpa with a sense of humor!
My nana had a wicked sense of wry humour, my mum inherited it, but not as much. I think I have a good sense of humour, as do my kids. And grandkids. It funny that my son met and married a nice catholic girl. She didn't have a sense of humour ( her whole family are dry and stoic) within a year she was one of us, even out dos our son at times. She has lots and lots of friends. Miss 10 is the funniest of all the wee ones. Her one liners are classic.

I don't like the term 'my missus' because it sounds like an off hand remark, just as using 'she' and 'her' when the lady in question is right next to them. I think that is just the people I work with who are not the best educated shall we say.
