Travel Plans 2025

Good time to try tapado olanchano, rice & beans with stew chicken, cochinito pibil and...a Cuban sandwich!
I’ve already found a brewery day trip in Honduras that serves flights of pilsners, hefes, and marzens with German sausages - it’ll be like I never left Cincy!

When is hurricane season?
The way it is lately…year-round. 😒

I guess this post really comes under the category of Travel Memories ... DH & I were talking about our travels here on The Mainland since we left Hawaii in 2007!!!!!
And anyways, we were discussing The Late Night Gourmet and his retirement and that DH said that they are now eligible to buy a Seniors Forever Pass to the National Parks... and when and were did we get ours?
So I went searching ...
(I keep a travel photo/blog journal)
It was May 2008 at Zion National Park ... what a blast of a trip!
We paid $10usd back when (don't ever lose it!) and as of 2017, it jumped up to $80usd - wow!
We were trying to remember how many parks we've been to - I'll look back ...

I have just been informed that we’re going back to Pennsylvania (Hanover-York) area in August, for about eight days, to eat pretzels, buy snack chips/crisps from the outlet store, and look at more retirement homes.

We’re driving this time, so I will be taking two 55-gallon drum trash liners for my snack chip/crisps purchases. I was denied that in December because we flew.

We got tigers here :)
Tigerfish, that is
Great fun
But it will be different types of fish where I'll be going
(Check out south luangwa national park, and north luangwa :angelic:)
Wow, walking safaris and night drives to see nocturnal animals.
I particularly like the Norths description early on that it's not unusual to witness a kill! 😮
Between the two it's seems like there's nothing you won't see, it sounds absolutely amazing 😍
