Walnuts I have plenty

What can I do with them, a friend gave me 3 bags of these. Maybe 3 to 5 kg bags. I use in pate but there's enough here for Africa.
Any uses please and storing please?

My MIL has three trees, I will try to get her recipe for walnut fire water. Pesto is a good one. Are they in there shells?

Pickled walnuts are fantastic. I've always wondered how they are made.

Yep - as rascal says they are picked green. Then fermented - easiest is to buy Opies pickled walnut. Its funny but they don't really taste like walnuts but they do pack a umami punch. I always have a jar in the cupboard.

People knock traditional British cooking because they are ignorant of what it represents. You bring the walnuts and a big wedge of Stilton. I will bring the Gala pork pies.
