Fixin' to be the same here soon with temps dropping to -12°F. 🥶 All kinds of warnings...

I've fuel for the generator and fuel for the camping equipment to cook. When it's that cold the heater runs full tilt and the house still cools off. ☹️ I've a solar heater thing for Pippi's bed.

Diesel equipment, (tractors), won't start so hopefully nothing falls across the driveway. I can get out without the driveway but it's treacherous if icy.
 
My dashboard read 1° F while I was driving to work this morning. Three field meetings later, I think it made it up to 10° F by my last site visit at 2:00, which didn't feel bad at all because there was no wind. It's fairly unusual for me to have field meetings at all, let alone three in one day in this kind of cold. Lol, and tomorrow, I have another. Rest assured, over my dress shirt and cardigan, I'll again be wearing a warm puffy and wool sherpa hat.

I'm outside conditioned, loved those kinds of meetings since they bothered me not at all! 🤠
 
Arctic weather heading this way this weekend. Besides the brutally cold temps, we’re due some snow. Some are saying as much a 12 inches, others are saying closer to 5 inches. We’ll see.

You’re expected to get it worse than us over our way - they’re predicting 7-10 inches of snow for our area, plus sub-zero windchills for the next 10 days (at least), but no ice or sleet so far.
 
Ice, sleet, and snow here but definitely not those temps for that period. GA has already declared an emergency.
 
It’s currently 4F/-15C, with a windchill of -7F/-22C, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

In the family carousel, by brother is faring the worst -12F/-24C real temp, but no windchill.

Snow is supposed to start lightly this afternoon, then dump around 10 inches overnight.
