What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2025)?

Going to kick off with the Mumbai Sandwich I saw here. Sounds tasty!
That looks a pretty good recipe.
I made Mumbai sandwiches for a Street Food dinner a couple of years back, and we made the same for the Indian festival 3 months ago.
There are two important things I learned. Firstly., make sure you slather abundant chutney on the bread. Too little, and it tends to be a bit bland. Secondly, sprinkle abundant masala on each layer of the sandwich, and if you can find it, use black salt (namak) instead of ordinary salt. Grated cheese is fine, but a good thick slice of real Cheddar is better and, apparently, more authentic.

Thanks for that KKD.
The Namak is ordered 👍

I threw a lot of gadgets yesterday, I meant donated to Goodwill, a lot of them are brand new with tags still on. I figure somebody gets to enjoy their Christmas.
For me a gadget has a year to prove itself, after that unless there are mitigating circumstances it’s going to the charity shop!

This is from my mom’s house. My sister rarely cooks, even in her better days, she put everything in a crockpot and ate her food for a whole week.

Other than I don't have a crockpot...

I thought you had a slow cooker? I vaguely remember something about cooking things when busy in the day with University stuff. Maybe I'm confusing it with something else.

For information: A slow cooker is what we call a crockpot in the UK.

No mayonnaise??? 😱

Getting a new Hamiton Beach coffee maker. It has more features than the Kueurig. It will allow me to make coffee by the pot or pods for singles servings. The Keurig is also acting up. They are not reliable now. :whistling:

Congrats!

I've gone through using just about every modern device known to make coffee going back to an enameled French drip pot. At the end of the day I go with my 18/8 stainless percolator.
