What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2025)?

Yes. I tend to wash as I go so it's not bad. Once a week is more to keep the machine running than anything else. Plus I hate buying those pods for it...
Yes. But the pods do work better than the liquid and crystal box kind of DW soap. My pet peeve with handwashing is getting the smell out of plastic containers and the lids for my pyrex. I put them on the top rack of the dishwasher and they come out odor free. I rarely use plastic containers anymore and most of what I have is pyrex, but to me, if I can smell food odor after washing it, it's because there is lingering bacteria in there. So I used to use a lot of bleach when washing by hand before I had a dishwasher.

When all 4 of my kids were really young, we hadn't built the addition with the new kitchen and I was washing dishes for a family of 6 by hand. Glad those days are history!

I read foot odor!!! Yes, the pods work very well I just think they're overpriced mostly due to the ease of use inherent in the packaging. Work that out against a bottle of Dawn and you're getting screwed.

Thankfully I've never had stinky feet, even in Florida summers with tennis shoes. I buy them only when on sale. But they work so much better than Dawn and my hands are still lovely.

Nice I like that hackster too. 😊
Perhaps it's because I use piles of the stuff, or perhaps it's because I've just peeled so many cloves of garlic that I don't care any more.
Whack the garlic clove with the blade of a chef's knife; remove the outer skin, mince with said knife. Takes about 2 minutes, and the only thing you have to wash is the knife.

It's all about steps to. How far do I have to move to make this happen? Maybe not many per instance BUT... Over the course of my HVAC career I've been to the moon on stairs or ladders...
