What are you baking today (2025)?

Thank you.
And I'm sure I read something about no cross-posting when I read the rules.
But apparently I didn't read them close enough anyway, lol.
Well I am not a moderator and apparently I may have read the rules but still manage to break them. I think that the rules state no politics but that hasn't stopped several of us from doing that. As far as cross posting goes, even the site owner has posted photos of her food in two different threads because it was relevant. I know I and others have done it multiple times as well.

I try to post photos once and if relevant again then a link. It's all money somewhere when it comes to data mgmt and CPU time.

That is literally the first thing that came to mind!
As soon as I read label it recipe I just know something is going to go wrong

Hth, ...

Oh yeah, and you can't directly post a recipe of someone else's. I believe you can post ingredients but if it's a printed recipe, you can't post the directions verbatim. I guess you are off the hook since yours was video based and not written?

The main issue with cross postings is that each time you upload a picture into a post, a fresh copy is made unless you use the media gallery and let it link to the picture that way.

So 3 posts with the same photo added by the attach files button takes up 3 times the space as 3 posts with the same picture used from the media gallery.

A media gallery upload looks like this.

Another batch of Twinkies for the Groomer Girls except these will be filled with what was the original filling, banana pudding. WWII came along and bananas got scarce so they were filled with vanilla. That eventually cost too much so now we have them filled with whipped marshmallows, sugar, and hydrogenated vegetable oils... 😡
