What did you cook or eat today: August 2025?

I have all these chili's from my garden:

badjak suggested making sambal so all the chili's, a bulb of homegrown garlic, some shallots, two tomatoes with the bad parts pared off, some leftover cilantro, salt, palm sugar, golden syrup, and two habaneros were run through the food processor and cooked in a pan of sunflower oil.

Caprese salad with roasted red bell pepper, rather than tomato. Chunks of cantaloupe wrapped with prosciutto. Deviled eggs made with mayo, dijon, finely diced mortadella and chives, Parmigiano Reggiano, garnished with a rolled strip of mortadella and chopped chives.
