What did you cook or eat today? (December 2025)

I had a tea tasting workshop with a tea sommelier, very interesting!

Watched a video of a three-ingredient sauce from ATK/CC (they call it “infinite sauce” because it goes with everything.

Brown butter, soy sauce, and lemon. I made it to go with the chicken. I tasted the sauce on its own, and I thought, “Ok…it’s better than the scant ingredients would suggest, but it’s not the best thing ever.”

Then I put it on the chicken…wow! Buttery and tart, and that overused u-word I dislike (rhymes with tsunami). It was delicious!

…and yes, it worked poured over the rice as well.
 
Leftover turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy... again tonight. Then tomorrow for lunch, I'll have the last of my leftover turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Thank God! I don't think I'll even want to look at turkey again until 2026. 🤣

Man, I sent so much home with everyone, too, and even pressure canned much of it into turkey soup! But then I found more containers of leftovers in the garage fridge, so I was like, "Waste not, want not", and it's been game on 'till it's gone.
