I like Pizza Hut, but my DH hates them. Well he doesn't mind the taste, but there's something about the food that upsets his stomach for some reason. Every time. But its the cheese that keeps it all together
Personally, I like Pizza Hut Pizza's soft crust, plenty of toppings and reasonably priced. Actually let me rephrase that - I like any pizza but prefer Pizza Hut ones![]()
I get paid a fee with food reimbursement to evaluate some of those chains. It tastes better when it's free, LOL.The restaurants mentioned here I don't like them either. Pizza Hut, Dominos, TGIF, Hooters(not sure if we’ve been here once, but they are close to the hotel we were staying), Outback Steakhouse, no, i don’t even like steaks, lol.
Ok, I was in the kitchen, and I smelled something in the wind.......
I think it's their tomato sauce. Does the same thing to my stomach. Horrible heartburn and upset.I like Pizza Hut, but my DH hates them. Well he doesn't mind the taste, but there's something about the food that upsets his stomach for some reason. Every time.
Waiting for the Schweinebraten mit Kartoffelkroketten? Or just a nice cold beer?Sitting in a non-chain German restaurant…

I'm leaving for the weekend...I'm doing a new pizza dough recipe, so this is my 2-3 day warning.

That's the smart choice.I'm leaving for the weekend...![]()

| My youngest finished this year's first semester in college and was coming home for a month, so I wanted to have nice dinner ready for him to return. I had a window today between 11:30, where I wrapped up with work, and 6:30 where I needed to head to my company's Christmas Party. In that interim, I made braised short ribs (and chuck roast) with roasted cauliflower purée and glazed carrots, topped with gremolata for him. The braise alone was 3.5 hours 284*F/140*C, and I worked almost non-stop in that interim to prepare everything else. This cooking can be a labor of love, I'll tell ya! |
