Made for a certain ingredient challenge, it needs tweaking a bit yet..

Vegan Orange Glazed Tofu

We like the sauce but the tofu cooked the way the recipe stated hasn't worked for us. And tomorrow we'll have it served over rice as it is meant to be. Tonight it was just a supplement to our planned soup. We only ate about ⅓ between us, so I'll recycle it tomorrow!

Scratch made Buttermilk Waffles for my Mother's freezer

DH said that they smelled so good that I should make another batch so that we can have Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches GREAT IDEA!!

Honey-mustard roasted pork chop and braised red cabbage and apples.

We split a bacon cheeseburger with white cheddar, mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, slivered red onion, sliced tomato, and romaine lettuce on a toasted brioche bun for lunch (at 5:30 lol). It was messy but good.

Pistachio and honey mustard crusted tilapia with roasted brussels sprouts with a balsamic vinaigrette.

Today is my five year anniversary with cookingbites.
