Looked like she forgot to charge me the $3.99 for coleslaw, even though it’s listed, and she said told me not to worry about it and called me “hon,” so that $4 got rolled into her tip. :laugh:
I went back and checked the menu I posted, and she also knocked $2 off my beer for some reason. 🤷🏻
 
Maybe she was crushing!
Maybe it was because the guy opposite me was hitting on her with no subtlety at all, and I was just being my usual, “Yes, please,” and “Thank you” self.

I’m only half-kidding, because he’d say something just this side of inappropriate and she’d half-laugh, turn around to walk away, and roll her eyes big-time, and I know she saw that I picked up on that, so maybe she just appreciated a pudgy man with a devil-may-care hat and a gentlemanly manner! :laugh:

Saturday night usual... on Sunday
So air fried vegan rice & chia nuggets, a home grown fried egg, air fried sweet potato chips and garden peas.

Yes, I ❤️ garden peas. I have been known to eat a bowl of them and nothing else... but usually also do that with custard (by itself) as well.
