Yes they are quite largeI bought a potted sage plant with these fatty leaves so they are simple to stuff. However I think you can also use the smaller ones. The recipe is on my blog

I did.
A DIY of a dried ramp/wild garlic mix from SW France. I found dried ramps for sale on Etsy. The rest is zapped garlic and green onions which are dried plus some dried fines herbes.
Will post the recipe.

VERY heaty soup, for sure. I believe it came with in immigrants from the Azores to Hawaii (just asked Dr. Google and she agreed) ... my paternal grandmother was from the Azores.
