What did you cook or eat today (January 2021)?

My special fried rice, char siu from the freezer, eggs, shrimp, chicken, red and green onions, red bell, shiitakis, carrots, baby corn, green peas, and rice of course. Forgot to add, garlic and ginger as well.

I have never had partridge, or seen it on a menu, or in a store. Is it similar to another bird in texture and flavor? It looks rather lean.

Texture wise it's similar to chicken, but not dry. Taste is somewhere between pheasant and duck, with a hint of liver. Really nice.
