Pan seared steak, mushroom sauce over mashed potatoes, and a small garden salad. It doesn’t look good, I prefer a bit more seared/brown on the outside, but it’s very tender.

I’ve added a casual chat room to CookingBites as a place for off-topic banter, light conversation, and short-lived chit-chat that doesn’t belong in forum threads. At a more upscale restaurant tonight with family, we all split the Five Onion Soup as a starter. Mrs.GH had the Cioppino, my Step-Mom had a Lobster Roll, and my kid and I each had the Braised Short Ribs. All excellent.
