You can freeze blue cheese?Pasta salad using left over bits and pieces (red peppers, baby cucumber, celery, mini plum tomatoes, made a sweet, sour and salty Asian style dressing).
Have managed to use up almost all the Christmas and New Year food. Hardly any waste this year, mostly thanks to those wooden platters with the clear lids - they see food, they eat it
Only 1/3 pack of paté and one devilled egg binned, and only one thing frozen (Stilton because I had about four blocks too many).

The Stilton that I froze I broke up and crumbled into pieces, it is laid out in a large freezer bag flat on a tray so I can just take a little bit when I want it. It will be perfect for sauces, dressings dips etc.
People make a big thing out of freezing cheese but it used to be a common thing to do, who cares if the cheese in your sandwich is crumbly? I actually like that in a sandwich![]()
