So my recipe ends up like
4 cloves of garlic, but a little more according to strength. And if you don't like garlic, you can leave it out, but then you should maybe add some more red onions
But if you can't get red onions, you can use brown. Or maybe even onion powder. But shallots would actualllly be nicer. And since our shallots are home grown and a bit stronger, naybe you need a bit more.
All according to taste obviously

Well one day you'll have to try some Mexican food and you'll immediately know the difference.
Lol. 3 nights I ago we were in blenheim were driving looking for a restaurant for a takeaway. Shop sign said cancun spice or something like that. Wife said let's try that.we shared nachos and burritos.
Nachos were a bit spicy but really good.
We were full to bursting afterwards.
Somewhere in my mind I think you and your old man went to cancun????

Soft Solid Foods

Sunday Brunch:
A full recipe of my Buttermilk Waffles, enough to freeze for later on
And a "British Banger" is what our local Krogers calls them, I call them fantastic!
The Sausage was nice and juicy and tender enough for DH, cut into small bites that is, same with the Waffle with Maple Syrup to further soft it :p:
DH was a happy camper.
 
Rocklobster I do like big chunks of Potato and Carrot in stews and soups, but smaller pieces of the celery.
Since DH is on a "soft solid food" diet for three weeks, he'll be getting those Carrots cooked soft, which he does not care for, but too damn bad Mister!
 
WELL BUGGER!!!!
For two days now, I've been working on making Meyer Lemon Marmalade (it's a process) , which I use to do all the time, long ago.
I saw Organic Meyer Lemons and thought 💡 let's do this!

As I was filling the jars, I realized I blew this!!!
I didn't dissolve the pectin correctly (nor did I do the "jell test" on a cold plate) ...
BUGGER!
Well, the recipe states to let the Marmalade is to sit for two weeks before opening... we'll see then...
