What did you cook or eat today (June 2025)?

I'm on a mission to try and make Yorkshire Pudding that tastes like my Mum used to make! To turn it in to a meal I keep adding sausages to make it Toad In The Hole.

The first time I used Lard but yesterday I used Beef dripping and it was a lot tastier but still not quite right so I'll have to keep trying!

ps I like your use of an instant pot to make the toad in the hole. You should write it up on the Instant Pot thread 👍
 
There was a load of skinless sausages, half a pack of lardons and four rashers of bacon in need of using up. Had a bacon sarnie and cooked up the rest for I dunno what later 🤷‍♀️

The air fryer setting on the Ninja (instant pot thing) did a good job. Put it all in at the same time and pulled out the bacon, then the lardons and finally the sausages. All done and dusted in under 15minutes 👍

And I am not a fan of cloves & cinnamon either
I easily find them overpowering (I suppose I got a low taste treshold for those)
They are fierce, if that's the right word. just a pinch is usually enough to add depth of flavour; too much and you've got chicken tikka masala cinnamon rolls...
