Just a couple of Lamb Chops, Stringless Beans, Mashed Potatoes and a dollop of mint sauce for my tea today!
God, this looks so good, there's just something about it. I need to do this at some point. Savory, creamy, crunchy. mmmmEggs from this year's chicks. They hold together so much better than the eggs from our older retired chooks.

No burnt toast is probably SatNavSaysStraightOn's only crucial criteria.God, this looks so good, there's just something about it. I need to do this at some point. Savory, creamy, crunchy. mmmm
Takes more energy initially to heat something up and then less later to maintain it.SandwichShortOfAPicnic I tried out my pancake maker last week - set it to heat up on med - and the electrics tripped out wihle it was heating up Reset the electrics and tried again and it was ok. After cooking I even turned it up to high and the electrics were ok. So idk why they tripped on initial use.
Anyhow - I made a fresh lot of pancakes today, next week I'll test waffles

I have so much rice. I try to mix it up with potatoes though, varied nutrition.Oh, I also cooked up a fresh pot of rice, still needs portioning up and lobbing in the fridge![]()
I have a lot of rice too. I have regular cheapo rice, wild rice, black imperial rice, sushi rice, arborio rice, basmati rice (both white and brown), and that rice for paella (can't think of what it's called right now). I think that's all the rice I have (no jasmine at the moment)...but I also have several types of quinoa and barley.I have so much rice.
