We had it as kids a lot.. single parent family so not much money. When meat was cheap. Or offal. Most of our offal goes to Saudi etc.
Even herrings used to be cheap..nice with a salad. I havnt seen a tin in years.

Corned beef is our 15yo..fave meal. She bought a friend with her about 6 months ago. She had not even heard of it.
