A simple lunch and the hubby cooked our evening meal of autumn vegetable cobbler

I found a gorgeous small Black Angus prime rib roast a couple of days ago for only $7.99 lb (normally about double that). I marinated it in a soy and garlic marinade overnight and used a reverse sear method to cook it. My youngest daughter came over last night and we ate it with red-skinned mashed potatoes and salad. I wish I'd taken photos because it was perfect. My husband asked me if my arm was sore from patting myself on the back lol. But all 3 of us enjoyed it immensely and there's a nice chunk left for my in-laws to have.

Watermelon radish is a radish that looks similar to watermelon in that it has a greenish outer rim, white middle rim, and pinkish core. It is NOT watermelon.
