They're not usually a cooked ingredient - wondered. 🙂
Not only do I recommend deep dish pizza but there are some great avocado soups, avocado omelettes and even avocado pasta sauces all of which cook avocados. Cooking them is common and normal to me. You don't want to overcook them, of course.

You could add avocado to your fried rice, just add it at the end of the cooking process so it doesn 't overcook.
