I asked MrsT what she wanted with her salad tonight, and she said, “Something with potatoes,” so there you have it.

Thanks. Usually we have that with baked/jacket potatoes, but the ones we have right now are slightly smaller boilers, so that’s what I did.

We have always baked even the smallest of potatoes (with skin) and it works really well. Comes from growing your own and ending up with loads of little ones. They bake really well (especially if you toss in a tsp of oil and some s & p with maybe dried rosemary and thyme). Just an idea.

The predominance of red in the laarb is probably because I used Kashmiri chilli powder in lieu of the standard Thai chilli powder.

Pantry gnocchi in an instant dashi & Gochujang sauce topped with sesame seeds, cheese & toasted sesame seeds. Cucumber salad, green salad, pickles & BBQ chook from the supermarket.
