What did you cook or eat today (May 2024)?

Today’s lunch: chickpea-avocado smashed sandwich with carrot ribbons, tomato, and cucumber.

I was so thrilled to find some stray scallions growing in the garden, so I threw a couple in.

My son appeared unexpectedly late morning and then cooked us lunch!

That was a nice surprise.
What’s going on, what does he want you cynical folk (including me) maybe thinking.
Nothing he says. Then breaks the news he’s come down to go to the tattoo parlour and runs out of the door!
I’ve not seen it yet and I don’t think I want to!
